Be your own PET (often abbreviated to BYOP) are a four-piece garage rock group from Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

The teenage band consists of lead singer Jemina Pearl Abegg,
the daughter of Christian artist/photographer Jimmy Abegg;

guitarist Jonas Stein, the son of manager Burt Stein;

John Eatherly (drums);

and Nathan Vasquez (bass), the son of acclaimed latin jazz guitarist Rafael Vasquez.

They’ve already held their own onstage
with Jimmy Eat World, HelloGoodbye, Boys Like Girls, and more.

If they get their way, it’ll be months of hitting the road with more bands like tourmates New Found Glory and Senses Fail,
more hotel rooms and a van that smells like dudes.
